Baptisms, (also known as Christenings) are exciting family events. They are a special time when families celebrate the birth of a child, and acknowledge their place in God's world. When you come and ask for yourself or your child to be baptised, we will welcome you warmly. We will help you to understand how faith builds your relationship with God. We will invite you to attend church before the baptism itself, as well as on the special day. And we will include you in our church life from there on.
You have the right to be baptised or bring your children to baptism if you are happy to declare yourself a Christian, and if you live in the parish, or if you are a regular worshipper at Pinhoe Church but live outside the parish. |
